I was shocked when a study in US reported that almost 200 chemicals were found in umbilical chords of babies.

Yes. And here’s why: water-based skincare and cleaning products without preservatives can get contaminated and breed harmful bacteria and microorganisms. That said we do not use harmful preservatives like parabens, sodium benzoate, phenoxyethenol etc. but instead use plant based preservative systems.
